Mrs. Schmidt's students had a blast playing “4 Corners” — building connections, sharing laughs, and learning more about one another.

We’re so excited for the start of the year! Open house has been wonderful! We’re here until 6:00pm. Come by if you have not been able to yet. A huge shout out and thanks to the BMS Cheerleaders and Coach Young for greeting, directing & helping students and families as they arrived and navigated the building! We are continuing to build the strong Warrior PRIDE at BMS!

It has been a great first few days of the 2025-2026 school year! Celebrating our excellent staff achievement with 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Sam Patterson & the 2025-2026 ASD2 District Support Staff of the Year Mrs. Susan Babb.

Proud to see when Warriors show up to help beautify with some sweat equity and strong backs. BMS Garden got some much needed cleaning out this morning with the help of the BMS Ag department with Mr. Conover as well as the BMS Warrior Football team with Coach Shirley who took the opportunity as a great team building activity. Work was done, progress was made, laughs were had, brotherhood was strengthened and Warrior PRIDE was shown. Maybe most importantly, no snakes were found..... Excited to continue to improve this area throughout the year as our Ag department takes over with the clean slate and great plans for beautification and education.

The Belton Middle School Concert Band performed for the Residents of Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home this morning. Our students played 10 concert pieces from their Winter and Spring Concerts. After the concert, our students spoke and spent time with the residents. We are very proud of our students for giving their time and talents to Veterans who have given so much to our country! It was also another, wonderful, full-circle moment as BMS and BHP alumnus Le-Nard Carter was able to join us in performing for our Veterans. He is making us all very proud in the Marine Corps!
