Ms. Anderson’s sixth grade World History students traveled back to the Stone Age for a hands-on challenge inspired by prehistoric cave art. Using only pictures and symbols—no written language allowed!—students created cave paintings to communicate messages about the daily lives, experiences, and challenges of early humans.
Once the paintings were complete, students took a gallery walk through the “caves” to examine the artifacts left behind and see if they could interpret the messages of their fellow prehistoric humans.

Our 8th grade students became detectives on Friday during Sentence Whodunnit, inspired by the board game Clue, in Mrs. Smith and Ms. Wilson's English 1 and ELA classes. Students answered questions about sentences, fragments, and run-ons to earn clues, eliminate suspects, and figure out who was responsible!
