Ms. Anderson’s sixth grade World History students traveled back to the Stone Age for a hands-on challenge inspired by prehistoric cave art. Using only pictures and symbols—no written language allowed!—students created cave paintings to communicate messages about the daily lives, experiences, and challenges of early humans.
Once the paintings were complete, students took a gallery walk through the “caves” to examine the artifacts left behind and see if they could interpret the messages of their fellow prehistoric humans.

Students in Mrs. Tate’s class put their science skills to work today! The Rainbow Lab challenged them to carefully follow detailed procedures, use common lab tools, and work accurately to create some colorful results with water and food coloring.
