Their hard work and preparation truly paid off!

We are incredibly proud of two of our own, Monroe Johns and Sam Roach, for competing in the Mr. FFA Scholarship Pageant! This event provides young men in FFA with the opportunity to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and make connections with members from across the state.
Monroe and Sam represented BMS with integrity and pride, and we are so proud of them for stepping outside of their comfort zones and trying something new. Way to represent our chapter!

Today our students had the opportunity to visit the South Carolina State House and experience government in action! While there, they met with our local state representatives and learned more about how decisions are made that impact our communities and agriculture.
We are grateful for the time they took to speak with our students and share their knowledge about leadership, service, and representing the people of South Carolina. Experiences like this help our students see the importance of being involved and informed citizens.

6th graders had an incredible day sharpening their inquiry skills at the Roper Mountain Science Center!
Students explored fascinating presentations on everything from clouds, climates, and catastrophes to the water cycle and our dynamic Earth. Through hands-on learning and engaging discussions, they asked great questions, made meaningful connections, and brought science to life beyond the classroom.

Our students have been hard at work in the greenhouse! In just a day and a half, they planted over 7,000 plants — showing incredible teamwork, dedication, and pride in their work. From seed trays to full flats, every plant represents hands-on learning and real-world agricultural skills in action. We are so proud of their commitment and can’t wait to see everything grow!
