Mr. Johns came over this week to give our faculty and staff an update on a unified middle school. He shared information in the steps moving forward and answered questions. We appreciate Mr. Johns taking the time to meet with us!





March is Youth Art Month and in celebration of that we have an art show every March in Anderson and in Belton to recognize our talented students! The following students have art work hanging in the Art Show at Belton Arts Center for our spring showcase:

Opening night is this Thursday, 2/29, from 3:30-6 if you can come and show your support of these students and see their work they would be so appreciative! This art will be on display from 2/29-3/22 at the Belton Arts Center during their normal business hours! ❤️ Cannot wait to see you all at the show! Go Warriors!


Four players from Crossfire Volleyball Club came and spoke to 6th grade FCA girls about self esteem and self worth in middle school and high school.







Our 6th-8th graders have been researching about future opportunities throughout the month of February during a Career Exploration Classroom Lesson!



We are so proud of these Warriors and the BHP Middle School Fishing Team! The team won 1st place this past week at Lake Russell.



6th, 7th, and 8th grade Strategies students went to Spartanburg Methodist College and did a college tour. They even got to enjoy lunch in a college cafeteria!










The following students had work selected to be put in the Anderson Art Show: Blake Maynard (8th), Brynna Brinkerhoff (6th), Mary Kate McKinsey (6th), Everleigh Greer (7th), Bailee Chrietzberg (7th), Dorthy Sprunger (7th), and not pictured, Bailee Driver (8th).
The opening ceremony is March 3rd from 1-3pm at the Anderson Arts Center at 110 Federal Street, Anderson. The art will be on display from February 26th-March 15th! We are super proud of these BMS Warriors!

Some of the FFA Officers traveled down to the State House and were able to meet and talk with Senator Mike Gambrell. #ASD2Advantage
