
Tomorrow August 3rd is the we first day of school! We are so excited to have students in the building! Reminder we want all students in the building by7:55. Students when you arrive report to the gym! 7th and 8th graders find your chromebook and charge them tonight! We will see you all bright and early in the morning.


BMS Families and ASD2 Parents do not forget to attend our district wide Open House tomorrow (Tuesday, Aug, 1st) from 2:00-6:00. See the attached flyer for all the exciting things you can do! We are super excited to see you there.


Belton Middle School has been named a MODEL PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY AT WORK®. We are one of about 500 Schools and Districts in the US and Canada to receive this honor. BMS was recently recognized by Solution Tree for its sustained success in raising student achievement. The successful implementation of the Professional Learning Communities at Work ® process was a major contributing factor in the improved achievement of its students.


Due to several folks being out of town, we will have an additional BMS Volleyball interest meeting on Tuesday, July 25th at 6:00pm in the BMS gym! All 7th and 8th grade girls are encouraged to attend! We would love to see everyone there!


BMS would like to welcome Mrs. Karla Schultz to our family. Mrs. Schultz has over 25 years of educational experience and she absolutely loves teaching!!! Mrs. Schultz received her masters from Clemson and an education specialist degree from Furman University. She currently resides in Easley with her husband and has has 3 adult children and two dogs. Mrs. Schultz is very excited to be a Warrior!!!!


BMS would like to welcome Mr. Evan Dyar to our family. Mr. Dyar is a fresh graduated from Clemson University (Go Tigers) with a Mathematics Teaching degree! His favorite hobbies include walking his dog Max, collecting various things, and watching any sports that are on TV. Mr. Dyar is super excited to join the BMS Warriors family as the new 7th and 8th grade math teacher!


BMS would like to welcome Ms. Amanda Mason to our family. Ms. Mason is originally from Oklahoma City, OK (Go Sooners!), but she grew up in Powdersville, SC. She holds a bachelor's degree in Human Services from Anderson University and is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Teaching through Clemson University. She is super excited to join the BMS Family and cannot wait to get her first year teaching started. Ms. Mason lives in Powdersville with her two daughters.


BMS would like to welcome Mrs. Erica Schmidt to our family. Mrs. Schmidt is so excited to be joining the Belton Middle School team as a 7th grade ELA teacher.
This will be her 14th year teaching. Mrs. Schmidt taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA at Renaissance Academy for the last 5 years. She has a bachelors degree in English and masters degree in education. She along with her husband and five boys, are proud to call Belton home.


BMS would like to welcome Mr. Seth Conover to our family! Mr. Conover is from Sumter, SC and recently moved to Starr, SC after graduating from Clemson University. He received a degree in Agricultural Education and decided to teach Ag because of the significant impact his own Ag teachers had on him. Mr. Conover is excited to start in the agriculture program at BMS and begin making an impact in the students’ lives.


BMS would like to welcome Mrs. Megan Tribble to our family. Mrs. Tribble is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. (Geaux Tigers!) However, she grew up in the small town of Hickory Tavern, SC. She currently lives in Honea Path with her husband and son son. This will be Mrs. Tribble's 8th year in the classroom, it’s her first at the middle school level. She is excited to see what this new adventure holds!


Calling all 7th and 8th grade BMS ladies that are interested in playing volleyball for BMS. Come out to meet with Coach Dixon on Wednesday July 19th at 6:00pm in the BMS Gym.


BMS would like to welcome Mr. Austin Lewis to our family. Mr. Lewis grew up in Greenville, SC and graduated from Clemson University. He will be joining BMS as a 7th grade math teacher for the 23-24 school year!
